I come from a family lineage of artistic individuals. My great grandpa was a masonry, who worked on many iconic NYC buildings. My great aunt, cousin, and my mother each an artist, crafter, and designer in their own mediums. I remember clicking with art while making one of those painted plates in my kindergarten class…it just felt right! In my early 20’s I began photography as a hobby while studying interior architecture in Melbourne, Australia, and knew it was my favorite form of expression. Professionally, I’ve worked within the art and fashion industries, as a photo editor, producer, researcher and photographer, working with notable artists, publications and designers, in International high fashion, beauty and advertising campaigns. I’ve worked at VOGUE and collaborated with numerous international magazine and book publications as a post-producer for Dtouch, a renowned photo and film post-production company in NYC.

My professional career and thirst for travel have allowed me to live and work abroad in Thailand, New Zealand, Australia, as well as stateside. Every venture has given me a distinct viewpoint, gaining extensive experience with diverse art forms and cultural ideals, further shaping my love of natural expression and a candid attention to detail.

Although work and life experiences have taken me around the globe, nothing has inspired me more as a photographer than when I became a first-time mom in 2015. Capturing my daughter Kaia’s amazing personality has added a fresh element to my approach behind the lens—I also named the business after her! My photographs offer a candid narration of each subject in the moment. Whether you have a location in mind, or prefer to attend a session at my home studio in Long Island, NY, my goal is to create a relaxed and natural environment to encompass your child or family’s unique charm and spirit.
